WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will study subjects relating to all aspects of Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

HOW IS THE COURSE TAUGHT?
You will attend college for 2 ½ hours each week for 38 weeks to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed in supporting teaching and learning in schools. The college based ‘workshop' sessions include opportunities for learning through theory and practice. You will also attend tutorial sessions with an assessor to identify how to produce the work-based evidence to meet the standards. If you do not have an appropriate literacy qualification you will also be required to attend literacy classes as agreed at your interview.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
To successfully complete the course you must produce a portfolio containing evidence of your ability to carry out all aspects of the standards competently and consistently. This will include records of relevant experiences at your place of work and assessments in your workplace by your assessor.

EDEXCEL NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 2
